The Fair is almost over....

The fair is almost over and I am glad to say that we had a great time. We met some wonderful people, including most of the candidates running for office in our County. We met Mr. Stone today (pictured here with me) who for those of you that don't know, he is running for Sheriff opposing Mr. Saldono. We talked with him for awhile. Thanks for stopping by Mr. Stone! And also spent time talking to all of the others including Greg Shaffer and a host of volunteers.
It has been wonderful hearing the views of the candidates that are soon going to be running our county. And of course, sharing my opinions and fears too sometimes. This county is going to change so much for the better I believe! I can't wait until November!
For the most part, it was great as an organization to have the opportunity to meet so many different people from all over the place and let them know what we are all about.
The East Liverpool Review wrote a wonderful 3 part story on our organization and helped us bring back into view the 1973 Tweed/Morris Murders. (You can read all 3 parts on the important links section at the bottom of the blog) Over all, it was another great experience. Kim and I had a very emotional day today though. We are both extremely tired and a bit overwhelmed. Sometimes, people make us crazy! We laughed at comments such as "Oh...I can't look at anything that makes me so sad."
Oh brother...neither can I but it's life.
Other than that we did also get 6 new names of possible unsolved homicides to research and are praying that they are solved. I will keep ya updated on those as we get confirmation.
