I wanted to take this opportunity to set the record straight about some of the rumors that I have heard recently about our organization.
Rumor #1- It has been said that Kim and I are in this for the money or to make money from these tragic murders. Usually, I don't even dignify this one with a response, but just because we are on the subject, Please let say once and for all that no one in our organization is making any money. Kim, me, Barb, Shelly, Cheryl, or any other family members do not make a cent when we donate our time to go out to various fundraisers. Not to mention the time we are away from our own families, the money we have to spend to set up a booth, the gas we use daily, etc. Every penny we get from donations, or t-shirt sales goes back into the fund to pay for the buses, new flyers, new t-shirts, ads for the newspapers, or any of the other many expenses we have.
Rumor #2- We do not take help from any volunteers. That is absolutely crazy! We ALWAYS welcome help from anyone wanting to volunteer their time. We have learned from doing this for a few years now that every single person we meet, can be an asset to us. You do not have to have a member of your family murdered or missing to join our organization! We do have rules that must be followed, but we are always willing to accept help if we need it.
Rumor #3- Everything we know about these cases are put on the blog. NOT TRUE AGAIN!! There are details about each and every one of these cases that for a host of reasons, we cannot display. Personally, for me, my 1st obligation is to the victims here and their families. I would never put anything on this blog that could hurt a victim, any member of their families, or cause harm to an investigation.
Well, so far, that's it. I hope that now that you have heard the truth, you will no longer listen to any of these rumors and as always, if you hear something and have a question, please email me and I promise to respond promptly.

These ladies are doing a wonderful job.
Basically, the one and only rule we have is that we don't bash the police EVER! We have alot of opinions floating around out there about Law enforcement etc, and we just ask that anyone that does work one of our functions please do not discuss your opinions with the public and that's it.
Thanks for the question! Belinda
You must have taken my comments out of context. Please quote specifics and I will respond. Belinda
As someone that has just gotten to know these ladies and organization, I couldn't be more pleased. They aren't out to bash anyone in law enforcement. They are just trying to help each and everyone of our family members who have fallen victim to an unsolved murder and in some cases unsolved missing person, find justice by keeping their stories alive in hopes that someone will come forward with the truth. In my opinion, our county needs them. They are just helping. There is no need to degrade them. Try walking in mine or any other family members shoes, and I guarantee whoever you are that thinks negatively, will change your mind. We have experienced enough heartbreak. Please dispell the rumors. This organization is our hope.
