Bruce Burton
Bruce Burton was found 200 yards behind his home in a field. Coroner Dr. Rich believes Burton was shot in the head at the place where his body was found. If you hyave any info, please call The Sheriff's Deptartment. (330) 424-7255

NO ONE HAS EVER CHECKED ON THIS CASE-HIS KIDS SAY HE WAS MURDERED BY A BIKER HE OWNED A BAR DOWN IN SLAINESVILLE AND ALOT OF ROUGH PEOPLE
I've never heard of 'Slainesville' - I would hope that if someone is going to post any comment, they at least know what they are talking about, not just something about 'rough people' in a town that doesn't exist. And yes, I know you mean Salineville, but that doesn't mean everyone does. (& there is no S in the middle)
please... if anyone has any information it would be appreciated!! he is missed by so many people and missing so much of their lives. PLEASE!! if anyone knows anything, please contact someone!!!
I knew Bruce, He was a cousin. I was at his house the day he was found. I still wonder what happened to him. If you ask me I think a cover up, just somethings don't make since. I would love to see the file of Bruce's case. Yes he did own a bar, and I have heard that he was murder. Not everyone thinks so, but I believe he was. Just would love to see the person responsible pay for the crime what was committed. Bruce was loved very much by his wife and kids, and the rest of the family. It's a real shame that he was murdered.
Lynn Leggett of Leggett's Funeral Home, who prepared the body, told me personally that Bruce's neck was broken. When I asked then Sheriff Koffel about it, he looked at me and said, "Don't ever bring this up again."
There were several murders in the county that were never investigated at that time or where half heatedly investigated to appease the public. I know of four in the Salineville area alone with Bruce being one of them.
