I wanted to post something for Charlie who's birthday was the 12th. I didn't want to upset his family any further on that day so I decided to wait a few days to mention it.
Charlie was an exceptional guy. Just visit his my space page that his daughters made for him and you will see how much that man was loved. (Link at the bottom of the blog)
At every outing we are at, so many people come up to us and talk about Charlie.
Everyone says that he had a "Larger than life" personality and that is obvious from his pictures.
I did not know Charlie personally, but I do know his family and they are all exceptional people. Charlie's Mom, Janet is one of the strongest women that I know.
She spent countless hours out in the field with us talking about Charlie. The pain that she still feels is very evident and all I ever wanted to do was hug her! Kriss is another one. She is a very kind spirit and she wants to see justice for Charlie in the worst way.
This particular case is very near and dear to my heart because Dave was the 1st person to contact me and I have had the privilege of spending a lot of time with them.
Ashley & Kayla (Charlie's Angels) are also desperate for answers. They were both so young to lose their Dad in such a mean, violent way, and it breaks my heart that they had to learn how cruel this world can be. They are also strong beyond their years and rely on their faith to help them get threw.
The saddest part though is that Charlie will never have the pleasure of knowing his grand-daughter Jaela.
If you have any info about Charlie, please come forward! This family has suffered long enough!
