Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year! Today myself and Kim have been busy planning events for the next few weeks. We have tons of things to do and are just trying to organize things a bit. We have meetings scheduled, and we have a lot of letters to get out to potential sponsors for all of the events in 2009.
We are going out to get sponsors for the new t-shirts in the next few weeks also, so if you would like to reserve a spot on the shirts, please give Kim or me a call.
I have decided to go back to the original crime scene artwork for the shirts this year. We will offer a variety of colors but the message will remain the same. The only difference being that from our original 7 names, now we have so many more (26 total) to include! Not exactly the plan in the beginning. We were once very optimistic that we would have the word "SOLVED" by some of the names. We never expected to have more and more names added before any were solved.
That's okay though....if we can get enough information out there to enough people, eventually, we will get some of these solved...
It is a new year and I am very hopeful!
Please be safe and hug the one's you love! You never know....someday you may reach out to hug them and they won't be there......

Happy New Year! Hopefully Sheriff Ray Stone will shake things up this year and get things in order. Manpower is one of the keys to solving these cases!

Just how much manpower does it take to change a light bulb? Oops! I mean solve one case?

There are not enough people on staff to do it all. That is the problem. There are not enough people on staff to do it all. How many times does this have to be said? There are not enough people on staff at the sheriff's department to do it all. Detectives are also working the streets and transporting prisoners to places they need to go. They do not have too much time to spend on the murders, much less sex crimes, burglaries, and arson. One more time- THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE ON STAFF AT THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT TO DO IT ALL.

I will say this again. How much manpower is needed to solve just ONE CASE? How much manpower is needed to SOLVE just ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE Case?????? Follow me yet?

Of course you won't say who you are so I have no idea if you have any credibility or if you are just an armchair detective. And since I bothered to go out there and actually look for an answer as to why there are so many unsolved murders in this county, I trust my answer way more, so I am not following you anywhere, figuratively or not.

You can't answer because you don't know. You are looking in the wrong direction. Just for the record. It is INEXCUSABLE that not ONE case has been solved, manpower or not.
