Belinda asked me to write something for the blog about yesterday, Mike's Birthday. We went out to his grave and took some flowers. Some one already put a beautiful Christmas arrangement on his resting site, complete with a horse and saddle. Mike was a cowboy, heart and soul, and every one that knew him, knew that.
I can remember when I first started working with Belinda,over two years ago.
Everything seemed so simple. It has been over 4 years since Mike was murdered now and I have watched his family take each set back in his case with a grim smile, knowing each time that they would not give up. But with each passing year, it gets harder and harder. For Belinda and Shirley(Mikes Mom) it was always "When they catch Mike's killer." Now they say "If they catch him" If. The passing of time is very discouraging.
I know many of the other families are visiting the graves of their loved one this Christmas. Some have waited over 30 years for justice. 30 years.
Please remember all of our families in your prayers. For some of them, the only justice they can count on is from God, as the murderers of their loved loved ones stand in judgement before Him.

THANK YOU BELINDA AND KIM FOR THE PICTURES - THEY DID MY HEART GOOD TO KNOW PEOPLE STILL REMEMBER AFTER FOUR YEARS.AS THE YEARS TICK BY YOUR HOPES ARE DASHED BECAUSE THE KILLERS ARE STILL WALKING THE STREETS. ANGRY YOU BET YOUR ASS I AM ANGRY. MY SON WAS MURDERED AND HIS MURDERERS ARE STILL WALKING YOUR STREETS. The sad fact is that no one gives a damn about murdered victims in COLUMBIANA COUNTY except CCFHV. It wasn't their loved one- so who really cares??? They just go on with their happy little lives. It just might happen to those happy little families someday then I bet they would give a damn. THANK YOU GUYS FOR REMINDING PEOPLE THAT MY MIKE WAS MURDERED AND THE KILLERS ARE STILL WALKING THE STREETS! Like the blindfolded lady above the clock tower at courthouse. Lady Justice has a blindfold on! Is Justice blind?

AS I GET OVER MY DEEP BOUT OF DEPRESSION FROM THE HOLIDAY SEASON I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THERE ARE TRUELY GOOD DEVOTED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS IN CC WHO DO CARE ABOUT MIKE'S MURDER AND ARE STILL OUT THERE LOOKING FOR HIS KILLERS EVERYDAY!
