WELLSVILLE - Village police are asking the community's assistance in locating two possible suspects in a robbery at a downtown bank's ATM machine late Saturday night.
Lt. Ed Wilson and Patrolman Marsha Eisenhart released a photo Sunday taken from a surveillance camera at Huntington Bank located on Lisbon Street and are asking that anyone who knows the person depicted to call them.
Eisenhart said a man stopped at the bank's ATM about three minutes before 10 p.m. and was withdrawing cash when two males walked up to his car. One of them pointed a gun at his face and demanded he withdraw more cash from his account.
The two then headed north out of the bank parking lot.
Eisenhart said it appeared both suspects were between their late teens and early 20s, wearing what appeared to be black hooded shirts.
Cars were seen on the surveillance tape, passing the bank at the time ,and officers asked that anyone passing by about that time to contact the police department with any information, even something they might not think related to the robbery.
"Even if they just think they saw two kids walking up the street, they should call," Eisenhart said.
The victim was not injured but was shaken up by the incident, according to police, who said all calls with information will be kept confidential.
The number to call is 330-532-1522.
