Tonia Amato

With the upcoming pre-trial of J.C. Amato for the murder of his wife Tonia, I'd love to get your opinion on the trial, and also give you an opportunity to send your thoughts and prayers to Tonia's family. They are really in for a rough road ahead, I'm afraid and I for one, really feel for them.

I have spent a lot of time this week out looking for sponsors for the new tee's and I found myself exlaining a lot about why Tonia's name is still on the shirts, even though her case is going to trial. So to set the record straight, Families of Homicide Victims stays with and supports the families involved until the case is finally closed and the family has gotten some kind of justice. That includes going to court and supporting them through the entire judicial process (if they need it). Until that time comes, Tonia's name will stay on the shirts as a show of support.

Kimberly,
We appreciate your support so much and we would welcome your presence and prayers at the trial in September. I miss my daughter terribly but I know that I will see her again in Heaven. I appreciate everyone who remembers our daughter and that I no longer can hug her and call her everyday. May all of your efforts to find peace for all of the families be blessed.

I am outraged that this case has been delayed once again, by the Special Prosecuter no less. Justice will be served by the almighty to all partys in the end.

just saw the NEws he looked nice in his orange jumpsuit and numbers in front of him finally they are opening their EYES!

Are you kidding?? Of course it is delayed! His father is very rich and has the police and even the Ohio governor in his pocket.

I grew up very close to the Amato's house and used to go there often as I was friends with George "Buzz" Amato. (JC's younger brother) JC was crazy back then and only seems to have gotten worse. Dr. Jack is crazy too, but he has a ton of money and many connections. It is sad to see how large sums of money can bog down the justice system. I am sorry for your loss. I hope JC is soon served the sentence that he deserves.

To Tonia's Family,
I was devastated to only recently learn of Tonia's death. I am truly sorry for your loss and cannot begin to understand how you must feel. Tonia was a dear sweet girl and a talented singer. She was vivacious and caring and it is a shame that such a wonderful woman was taken so early from this world.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. When a man murders a woman, they always try the self defense crap.My sister has been missing for 8 years this month and the idiot husband, when confronted about the abuse says she was abusive to him,but that is an out and out lie.I pray the man who murdered your daughters gets the punishment in court he should get!!

Since when does one side get to introduce "evidence" without the other side getting a chance to cross-examine?? And since when does one side get to introduce "evidence" without the other side getting a chance to introduce its own evidence???? Is this justice?

Well JC will be getting out soon and Eric Dillard still rots in jail for trying to protect his family.
