Louise disappeared on June 21, 1979 in her hometown of East Liverpool. Several family members told authorities that they saw her with Robert Wooten, a friend of hers at the time. Davis never returned home that day and has never been seen since. Debbie Taylor, an East Liverpool resident was questioned by the police & said that she did not know Davis, but then later changed her story and said that they were friends. 2 days after she spoke with police, Debbie Taylor along with 2 of her 3 children were murdered. Wooten confessed to their murders and was sentenced to life in prison. He maintains his innocence in the Davis case. If you have any information about Louise Davis and what might have happened to her, please contact the East Liverpool Police Department @ 330-385-1234.

I can not believe no one knows about her. If she were to have disappeared under the same circumstances today, there would have been an Amber alert, and stories all over the paper. I can not believe how much nothing there was about her in the news at the time. Then she was just forgotten by every one except her family. It saddens my heart that her parents died never knowing what happened to her. It's like no one cares. But I do. I care and I am going to do what ever I can to help.
I FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT THIS.
Belinda and Kim,
Thank You so much for including Louise in all you are doing.
The 20th will be 29 years since Louise disappeared. I still miss her very much and pray someday we'll find her body and finally be able to give her the proper burial she deserves. Your devotion to all of our cases is genuinely obvious and greatly appreciated.
Love, Barb Davis
Matt, just read on News 9's site that there have been 20 (+) unsolved murders in Columbiana County. I think you should do a story on it.

I was friend with Louise, her sister Rachael and Barb Davis. We skated alot at Kaybee all the time and used to talk on the phone alot. Shortly before she became missing, I had asked Louise to help with work at the Chester Florists and then there was nothing. All I recollect is somehow thru the grapevine was she was buried or even entombed somewhere and it has bothered me ever since. I saw Rachael one time in east end but she hardly said 2 words to me :( I wanna know know what happened! I am at rodkoon@hotmail.com
Can someone please update this with more details regarding the circumstances of her disappearance and any progress in this case?
Obviously, Robert Wooten was involved with this child's disappearance and probable murder. After what I've read from East Liverpool Historical Association on the murder of Debbie Davis Taylor and 2 of her 3 children, and then read about Luise's case, this is what I believe: perhaps both Debie and Louise went somewhere with Wooten, and Debbie and Wooten killed Louise for whatever reason. Why else would Debbie deny knowing her friend? Maybe she got pulled in by accident, but was involved none-the-less. Wooten went to make sure Debbie wasn't going to talk, and killed her. He then killed the 2 children because they knew him and saw what he had done, and didn't want witnesses. What about the uncle that lived in the other apartment at the house that Debbie lived in? Did anyone check him out?
No way these 2 cases aren't related. It's too much of a coincidence. I hope this case gets solved and that Louise is found.
The above anonymous writer seems to know a bit much? Does anyone pay attention to these comments and investigate? This is the aunt of a very close friend and it sickens me to know how long this case has gone unsolved... so many facts in this case, who really is taking this serious so that Louise's family gets the justice and peace they deserve?
This is the niece of Debbie and the daughter of Louise's best friend and the cousin of the surviving child of Debbie and maybe its because of the fact that I just lost my grandmother that this post just pissed me off ! How dare someone accuse my aunt of taking her life when she was a mother herself. I'm hoping that these women still know and trust my family and know that none of them could have been capable of hurting Louise. By the way Robert Wooten comes up for parole next month hope you plan to once again be there to keep him locked up so that he can't come after any of us!
