This is Louise Davis

This is Louise Davis, one of three missing persons in the county. She vanished on June 21, 1979. She was last seen with a man named Robert Wooten, who, on June 25, 1979, murdered Debbie Taylor and two of her three children, Jesse who was 6 years old and Billie Jo who was 4 years old. And while you would think that these murders would have prompted the police to be more concerned for Louise, they insisted she was a runaway. Even when she never returned home and they found the clothes she was last seen wearing in a paper bag in the basement of Robert's home, they still insisted she was a runaway. Even then.
We feel that because no one ever looked for her, that she deserves that one courtesy, at least once. Thirty years late, but a search is exactly what we have planned to do. We have met with her cousin Barb, who is a great support line to us. We also met with her sister, Rachel. Rachel also feels that Louise was murdered and that her body is somewhere around the East Liverpool area. Where, no one can be sure. But there are possibilities. With the help of the police who were once working on her case, we hope to choose an area to search in April. Above is Belinda showing Rachel where Louise name is on the new shirts for 2009.

To that end, we are looking for a metal detecting club who knows about grid searches.. We have also contacted U.S. SARR Corps (search rescue recovery) to see if they would help us in our search. We will let you know if there is anything they can do for us.
In the picture above is Rachel, Kim, and Amber, Rachel's daughter, at McDonald's for our meeting. Rachel and her family plan on being there for the search as does Barb and her family. We will be looking for volunteers for that day. We will let you know when.
I can not help but think how different things would be if a 17 year old girl disappeared in Columbiana County today, especially if the man she was last seen with committed a triple homicide four days later. We would look for her. We would trace the mans steps and try to find out what happened. No one ever did that for Louise. Yes, it is 30 years late but at least we can say we tried. And who knows- maybe we will find her. We won't know unless we try.

I am a x-step daughter of Robert Wooten and also a sibling of his living daughter and child of his x-wife.Debbie was my aunt and as far as i know Louise was friends with my mother.I have been told over the years that there is a possibility of louise being buried on the hill beneath the spring tub above my grandmother's house or underneath my grandmother's house basement. We are all still haunted by this as well. us children still give our sympathy to your family and we are willing to help in any way that we are capable of helping.I am pleased to see that you have not given up on finding the answers and still doing what it takes to keep him where he is because i worry about the well being of our family if he is released.I can be reached at crhiehle21@tntech.edu
